IdeaFeX is a marketplace for goods and services. We are not sellers ourselves. Instead, third party sellers enlist their own merchandises. They are the ones listing the items and fulfilling the orders. Since our primary goal is to introduce product futures as a new consumption model backed by distributed ledger technologies, we take an approach different than traditional marketplaces in managing it: in particular, we launch with a commission-free model that aims to help buyers secure the lowest possible prices by removing listing and success fees. This entails some noteworthy details in browsing and ordering.

Buyers should be mindful that each seller may observe different sales and return policies. When the item listing does not specifically explain these policies, it may be advisable to inquire them prior to making the commitment of purchase. Please keep in mind that individual sellers (as opposed to professional sellers) need not offer returns for used items.

At launch, we do not offer a payment method directly with us; instead, buyers will interact directly with sellers. As such, the transaction is not to be considered to have taken place on IdeaFeX. We also cannot offer buyer protection.

Buyers are encouraged to leave reviews of sellers on each interaction. By doing so, we build a community pool of information that helps everyone together. If you have a poor experience, it also helps others avoid similar mishaps.

We will continually update our software to offer an experience comparable to leading e-commerce marketplaces. Nevertheless, we are a small team and our primary aim is to introduce product futures to the world. If and when our software malfunctions, please inform us and thereby help us improve. As we expect our service to be less smooth than well-established offerings, we have decided to follow the commission-free model. This is intended to help buyers secure lower prices for the same goods found elsewhere.
